Deployed Military Property Tax Exemption
Service members deployed outside the U.S. during the previous calendar year may receive a property tax exemption. The percentage of the taxable value exemption equals the percentage of time during the previous year that the service member was deployed .

Deployment was in support of a main or subordinate military operation designated by the Florida Legislature

Surviving spouses and children of service members killed in the line of duty receive a waiver of tuition, matriculation, and registration fees for a total of 120 credit hours .

Service member was on active duty at death
