Additionally, both spotted bass and bluegill can also be found, providing variety for fishing enthusiasts.
Fishing Regulations
When fishing at Veterans Lake, it’s essential to follow the Oklahoma statewide fishing regulations. The limits include a daily combined limit of 6 largemouth and smallmouth bass, but only one may exceed 16 inches. Channel catfish have no size limit, with a combined daily limit set at 15, including blue catfish. For flathead catfish, the limit is up to 5 without restrictions on size. Fishing for white and black crappie is allowed with a combined daily limit of 37, with no size restrictions. Remember, fishing methods are limited to hand lines or rod and reel to ensure the integrity of the fishery.
