The crash involved a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle, leading to a fatal outcome for a 16-year-old boy. Reports indicate that the pickup truck, traveling eastbound, crossed into the westbound lane before colliding head-on with the car that the teenager was in.
Details of the Collision
The impact of the collision was catastrophic, resulting in the passenger car bursting into flames. Bystanders witnessed the horrific scene and acted swiftly, pulling the teen from the burning vehicle. They began performing CPR until emergency responders arrived on the scene. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the young victim was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood.

As the investigation continues, details concerning the driver of the pickup truck remain unclear, including whether the teenager was a driver or a passenger. The authorities in Jackson are urging anyone with information about the accident to come forward.
