A Route of Remembrance
The parade commenced at the Delaware County Fairgrounds, weaving its way through the community. Spectators lined Pennsylvania Avenue and North Sandusky Street, creating a vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of small-town camaraderie. A proud display of colors and sounds, it wasn’t just a parade; it was a celebration of the spirit of our soldiers, with local bands, families, and distinguished guests coming together to share a sense of unity and pride.

More than Just a Parade
Prior to the procession, a Veterans Social was held from 12:30-2:30 p.m. This gathering provided veterans and their families a chance to reminisce and connect over stories of service and sacrifice, setting the tone for a meaningful parade. As the biggest turnout in years, the event showcased Delaware’s unwavering support and appreciation for its veterans, reminding us all that freedom isn’t free. Mark your calendars, because every first Sunday in November, this cherished tradition continues to celebrate those who’ve served our nation.
