The annual Delaware, Ohio Veterans Parade is a beloved tradition, celebrated every first Sunday in November. This year, on November 3, 2025, at the exhilarating hour of 3 p.m., the community gathered to honor our local veterans. With a pre-parade social kicking off at 12:30 p.m., attendees had the chance to share stories and express their gratitude before the festivities began.
A Route Filled with Pride
The parade route winds through the heart of Delaware, starting at the Delaware County Fairgrounds and making its way downtown. This route, often lined with families and friends, showcases floats, bands, and of course, the veterans themselves. It is no wonder that this event is known as the largest veterans parade in central Ohio, drawing participants and spectators from near and far.
Commemorating Service and Sacrifice
As the parade marches along, the atmosphere is charged with a sense of honor and respect. Veterans from various branches of the military proudly display their service medals, while local groups cheer them on, transforming this event into a vibrant celebration of patriotism.
